Coal Drying Process

Coal drying process mainly consistes of feeding,drying, discharging, dust collecting. 

The detailed process is as following:

The wet material is dispersed by the material feeding machine, then through the belt feeder and screw feeder, transferred into the drum dryer. In the drum dryer, wet coal is lifted by the large inclination guide plate. When the drum dryer rotates, wet material falls from the tube bottom to the tube top to form a material curtain, at the same time, high-temperature flue gas from the same side go into the drum dryer, to have the full heat exchange, at which stage most of the water was evaporated. With the materials and the repeated mixing of the flue gas exchanging until they reach thermal equilibrium to reach the water requirements of materials, the material is discharged drying drum. After heat exchange, there is a large amount of steam exhaust, which will be removed most of the dust emissions after cyclone dust removal, forming the entire drying process.
