Gypsum rotary drum dryer introduction

Gypsum rotary drum dryer has been designed to reduce the moisture content in gypsum through a direct fired rotary dryer. Particulate matter emissions (dust) are controlled using a high-efficiency cyclone and pulse jet baghouse. The system includes the following components:

♦Material Feed System: Specially lined feed hopper, transfer conveyor(s)
♦Rotary Dryer: Direct fired rotary dryer with drive, seals and industrial burner
♦Dry Material Discharge:  Discharge conveyor
♦Air Pollution Control Devices: High-efficiency cyclone, baghouse and induced draft fan
♦Controls: Push button control panels or programmable logic controllers, PLC, options available

Customizable to meet your specific process needs, including:

►Adding knockers to prevent internal buildup
►Pollutant limiting burners for reducing NOx and/or CO emissions
►Abrasion resistant lining
►Abrasion resistant flighting
►Insulation to increase thermal efficiency
►Vortex breaker on cyclone to decrease re-entrainment

Materials application:

✔ Drying mined or quarried gypsum to meet specified moisture levels
✔ Drying pelletized gypsum (part of the pelletizing process)
✔ Drying gypsum for use in wallboard
